Petronas Rescue Mercedes GP

The big hole in the Mercedes GP finance (caused by Henkel sponsorship screw up) will be covered by the new sponsor Petronas which happened to be my national gas and oil company. Now I have more reason to support Mercedes GP even though I will go where it flows as I was supporting Honda before their withdrawal.
I am really proud and elated about this partnership as our national premier company make another significant step towards a higher level with the silver arrow team. This F1 craze has made Malaysia featuring in 2 teams and 4 cars, and that’s astonishing considering Malaysia is just a small country.
However, it is not a small price to pay, the government and Petronas spend hundred of million in this and our nation is not even one of the riches country although we are blessed with the oil and gas reserve, but that will end eventually.
Anyway, for my support in Mercedes GP, this is indeed a good news for me. And I can expect to see the Petronas and Mercedes GP blends into the new livery which will be featuring in Spain next Feb for another test.
